The fans go full blast and it begins to boot, but then it just boot loops again.Īny ideas on what the issue might be? I don't have another charger to try unfortunately, but if there's anything else I could try, I would love to hear it. I also tried the thing where you unplug the charger, hold the power button for 10 seconds, plug in the charger, and then release the power button after another 10 seconds. I went through the whole process and at the end the only thing it pointed out was that there was no battery (duh). I've tried the internet recovery diagnostics thing (where you hold D upon boot). This replacement MacBook Pro 15' (2009 - 2010) battery is what you need to bring your laptop back to life. When the initial loading screen reaches about 30% progress, it just restarts. When I press the power button, everything starts normally for about 10 seconds. When I plug in the charger (85w version), it's green for a moment and then turns amber. After removing the battery though, it will not boot. I was hoping to just use it without a battery installed as I basically only use it stationary anyway. its a MacBook pro 13, mid 2018SPECS 2. I removed the battery from my Macbook Pro Mid 2015 since the battery had swollen up (the previous owner already had the battery replaced once by Apple as part of the recall program, can't do it a second time apparently).
